Life is purely based on pure luck

  • Yes, the king of Saudi Arabia worked really hard that's why he was born with millions in his bank account and oil under his castle. Boi don't Bullshit me.

  • Ignore them, And rest well, they want you to feel sad and angry. Dont feed into it.

  • I doubt anyone rejected you because you're ugly unless you were applying for jobs where good looks are a must. Even so, I feel like you're too hard on yourself.

Jealousy is poison and only slowing you down. But you need to realise this yourself.

I hope you can work your attitude out and focus on what you can instead of what you can't have

  • is half / half

some people are born with luck imho like pretty people and rich people

but there are some stuff that are up to us hmmm and I say this as someone who whine constantly about being ugly and poor lol

    and God exists

but I guess religion-theme debates can be tiresome

Then what wrong am I doing!!

Why is everyone able to have a normal life

    Find partner

    Find job

At least average looking (I am ugly)

    get better education than me

    have loving parents

    Have no health issues

    Except for me

It's not like I am not trying.

Enough with this bs life is luck, if you weren't lucky enough to get the opportunities and the advantages you have, you wouldn't make it. Hard work is easy, opportunities and advantages are the hard thing.

I will just put this picture here.

  • It's a combination of luck and hard work. There are things you can do and ways to position yourself to increase your odds of getting lucky. You have a negative attitude, which causes you to fail before you even start. Study web development or something. All you need is a device and an internet connection, and you clearly have both.

I was never like this, I was the most kind person you could ever imagine. Life turned me into this miserable bitter person, I tried my best, but it never worked out. I was writing my suicide note earlier, too late now I am almost 30 and lonely. There is really no point to live in my situation.

No, you LET life turn you into a miserable, bitter person. Suicide is the opposite of hard work. It's the easy way out. Suicide is always going to be an option for tomorrow. You might as well hitchhike to the nicest location on your continent just to see what happens. Maybe the person to pick you up will kill you, maybe they'll give you a job, or maybe a million dollars. If you're serious, does it really matter at this point? Just pick a direction and start walking to see if something good happens before you die of exhaustion or starvation or whatever. It's better than being a bitch about it.

You are WAY luckier than the kids in the pic. Their parents failed them, but they're also trying their hardest to survive. Those kids probably never made it to 30, but look at you, mister lucky and privileged. There are billions of dead people who would take your position in a second. You are one of the luckiest people ever to have been born.

  • contrary to what everyone else says I do agree with you somewhat...

luck does play a part in life...sometimes one is born with bad/tragic circumstances - certain people turn into social/psychopaths (I can't remember the difference) while others use that for the better...

you gotta make do with what you are given...

successful/ambitious people put themselves into positions where they can take advantage of such luck to change their circumstances...

  • btw, for some educational info. Mumbai's slums have their own businesses and no one is idle there. People work hard there❤️🥺

I'm not sure if you're serious, but I will respond seriously anyway. I'm not even sure what your K-pop stances are or what your past quarrels with users were based on, so I'm among the least biased when giving this response. I'm not going to give you some insensitive answer just because you're a "troll" or whatever it is.

Yes, lots of people are put into fortunate positions by luck. That's true. At the same time, many are put into misfortunate by luck as well. That's also true.

But that's not what defines how your life turns out. From what you said, you've put in effort to find a job and to better your life, so I'm not going to discredit that. Maybe people are indeed shallow and maybe you really gave it your all at the interviews.

In such case, I would say to be your own boss, take up a skill that there's a market for, and be excellent at it. Go to school and spend longer if you have to. You can't just sit there and be resentful at the unfairness of life forever. It's frustrating and it tempts you to be cynical, yes. However, don't let it defeat you. Let it drive you to be self-reliant.

    Well said.

People are going extra hard on this person due to past interactions with them, but if this were any other user, there'd be at least some empathy and "love" reacts.

    K-pop politics aside...

Yes, there's an element of fortune and misfortune in life, but we all have to make the most of what we're given.

Bad stuff happens to good people, but it's important not to let it turn you cynical. Turn tragedy into triumph and use it to your advantage. There's still a lot of good in this world, but we can't expect it to be handed to us. Go out there and make magic happen. It's the only way. Life's too short to mope around.

What do you love and what sparks joy for you? Go out there and build a career around it somehow.
