All the performative outrage was hilarious. Well not gonna say much as I still buy albums from the YG 'criminal' company itself. But it is quite interesting how it is true, that some stans were so adamant that they will not and cannot support YGA because of YG, yet now their company is actually investing millions of dollars in YG with YG benefiting quite well off it.

You do realise that SM have absolutely nothing to do with iflytek right? Iflytek gave SM a shootout after seeing the work they did with the Aespa avatars that's about it. But SM got vilified because of it as if they joined hands or something.

Okay than I take it back but if SM or any other company joins hand with a company of that likes, I would instantly drop that company including Bighit or other companies

I just browsed that other old thread, saw nothing new: antis using the opportunity to bash and like all negative posts - like they use any opportunity - and company stans of all Big 4 companies going the hardest in atttack & defense mode.

There is no ethical consumption under capitalism. No one who cared about anything ethical would ever get into kpop in the first place tho. It’s an industry that’s build on top of exploitation. So reading this is a bit funny for me.

Not at all kpop in particular is extremely exploitative. Children get into companies that train them for multiple years. Which part of that made you think it was ethical. That is text book childhood exploitation.

Company stans trying to bury other companies and their stans.

Happened then and is happening today.

It seems like people may have had actual concerns in both cases but it all got buried by hate and people calling 'hypocrisy' every time even when they should know that company stans opinions are never the opinion of the idol stans (And obviously will seem opposite in some cases)
