The lyrics are so beautiful.

Also I'm glad they kept it as "hwaa" and didn't change it to fire/flower. I think it would've sounded really weird.

English version is better than I expected but the Chinese was a bit rough. Still nice that they did these two new versions for the fans.

They stayed true to the lyrics... nicely done ladies. Impressed with both versions of the rap... imagine there will be a Thai version at this rate..lol.

Do you feel the same about Dumdi Dumdi? I liked it even more than the Korean version but I don't speak Mandarin so lol

I'm not sure if it should have been released if the goal is to draw in new fans from the West. Firstly, it's difficult to understand the lyrics with the pronunciation. Secondly, the song is probably too poetic for Western tastes. I hate to be critical but I want their songs to succeed wherever they're released.

I respect making it from an artistic desire and a service to fans POV.

nope its even more rougher but the thing for me is hwaa's instrumentals has a very distinct chinese/oriental flavour to it so the Chinese version goes well with it...

The lyrics above fire and winter and stuff is very suited for a period/costume drama

DD doesn't have that so it's merely singing an otherwise Korean song in chinese - it sorta lacks the connection between song, language and lyrics
