I doubt, she left JYP to pursue solo career... And thanks to that I have my Super Star Shin Yuna.

her Solo songs were pretty dope tho ngl. she has some pretty good solo material imo.

I sure hope not. If she wanted to be in a girl group, she could already have had that with Itzy. It sounded like she wanted more creative freedom and the ability to make her own music, which she definitely would not get if in a YG girl group.

Also, she's under The Black Label, which is technically separate from YG, so that probably causes issues too.

No. I think Somi has something unique that the Black Label can salvage as a soloist. If they do it right, Somi could be their first international Pop singer with a catalog. They need to put more thought into the compositions by creating and finding more memorable songs that mesh with her energy. It's easy to pigeonhole her into the 100% "YG (Hip-Hop) branding" and sound and never go outside of it, but doing that is not going to work best for her. They shouldn't go too quirky either.
