Big 3 stans really need to get over that Taylor Swift level of fake shock when their rookie groups do well. Aespa is following Red Velvet and SNSD, no shit they're gonna do well. People act like they climbed their way out of nugu-dom (on their first comeback, no less).

Only question whether it's 1st or 2nd comeback, by that time SM groups always have a steady fandom. SMNGG was the most anticipated debut on the old allkpop we had threads every day, reddit too they got the most hype. Obviously they were gonna be a success, all this "they showed the antis" stuff is just annoying. The top 3 of 3rd gen were Twice/BP/Red Velvet, and now it's gonna be Itzy/Aespa/YG new girlgroup. The only question, and the far more interesting one is who is gonna be this gen's Mamamoo, Oh My Girl, Gfriend, etc. The unexpected successes.

Yes Iโd consider Aespa monster rookies considering this is how theyโre charting with zero music show promotions/no variety shows set to air until next week.
Theyโre literally only behind BTS, IU, Brave Girls, Oh My Girl and Heize. All massive digital monsters/have had the biggest digital hits in the last year. Aespa is a 6 month rookie group and not a single album to their name. Let that sink in....Anyone who doesnโt think this isnโt impressive are delusional at this point lol
