Sometimes I wonder about those students in my class that can solve math in their head in a split second. I have made the grave mistake of deciding to take academic math next year, the problem is my head is still stuck in damn six grade, I am still stuck on division. I think people who are just naturally good at math are somehow cheating the simulation, because I've never gotten it, every other subjects I'm perfect at, english, science, french, all A pluses. But MATH? yeah that's when god really decides to test me. Its too much. I searched up a worksheet of grade 10 academic math and thought about fainting. Numbers mashed in between numbers with strange lines going right and left. It's evil. It really is evil. I'm scared. I really am.
Math is not okay and it's ruining my spiritual balance with the gods.

please send tips please.
i don't know what to tell you just concentrate in class, keep asking your teacher until you get it. really it is all about understanding, once you achieve that you won't even have to memorise forumals and rules.
stay strong

the hard truth for free-sailing math is that you need to drill math problems.
I had to do worksheets like 100 problems of multiplication in 100 minutes kinda things. I can still do lots of math now because of that sans a calculator.
(harder concepts like geometry and algebra can reduce to 50 calc could be reduced further to 20 ish. 100 problems of those isn't feasible, time-wise.)
It doesn't have to be hard problems, it just has to be a lot of the same concept and just a few harder ones.
To really know you have engrained the math into your mind is to compare it to riding a bike.
Riding a bike is that you get on and you suddenly know it
Math has to be the same for those who wants to pursue stem careers. Math is your bike to travel through the career.

Chemistry isn't too bad, yeah it uses math but it's mostly of the concepts that may get confusing.
I heard majoring in economics is pretty difficult, probably one of the hardest majors. For me, I graduated with an engineering degree and I had many sleepless nights.
Math is a hit or miss, it's not for everyone. -

Depends on the type of engineering, Electrical, and Chemistry, most likely, but environmental and industrial, not really. There is a running joke amongst my engineering classmates, industrial and environmental engineering is a major for mechanical and chemical engineering dropouts. The level of math industrial and environmental engineering students take is not as high as other engineering majors, I think they take up to Calc 2 whereas other engineering majors take up to Calc 4.
