Like .... IZ*ONE has set the standard for GG dances formations so high that a lot of times when I look at GG dances and that their formations aren't as nice as IZ*ONE, it just looks weird. BGs are even worse don't even talk about it
IZ*ONE probably has one of the most aesthetically pleasing formations ever from a KPOP group. Yes every KPOP group are super synchronized, but it's not about how synchronized they are, but more of the formations

It's so satisfying when they are synchronised 
they used their numbers to their advantage and all are very well synced. Who is their choreographer?

Omg, yes Izone has the most satisfying choreos with twice not far behind them. (Itzy, Gfriend, fromis9, and weki meki also have clean choreographies as well). I was hooked on their choreography after Violeta and I love their smooth transformations. Lol, I liked how you mentioned boy groups, I've always wondered why boy groups aren't as synchronized as girl groups in general. Even seventeen, who are considered the most synchronized, don't seem as synchronized as most girl groups to me? The only group I see come close is maybe TXT? Maybe cuz boy
groups go more for individuality???
The larger the group the easier to do beautiful formation choreography. Iz*One is very good at that but there is one thing that they do or I should say their choreographer does that I find annoying. That is the walk back. When some of the girls come to the front as part of their dance when they are done they just walk to the side and then to the back of the formation. Some parts are truly awesome but then they do that and it ruins it for me. I wish the choreographer would have made a better attempt at the transitions to have them move as part of a dance formation instead of just walking.

All their Korean title songs but Panorama were choreographed by Chae Dasom (Freemind dance crew). Panorama was choreographed by Choi Youngjun. Choi Youngjun choreographed most of WJSN's title songs and also choreographed "Rumor'.
On Japanese side, all songs but Suki to Iwasetai were choreographed by Ruu, a Japanese choreographer. Suki to was choreographed by Park Junhee, who made her name out as Gfriend's choreographer.
I have a thing for vocals and dance skills, and I've always loved IZ*One's and NCT's choreo and execution of it the most (and GFriend's, Seventeen's, Seulgi&Irene's Monster+Naughty and RV's Psycho too, but that's aside).
It's the advantage of a large group, if they're well coordinated: if their choreo is smartly built, then large groups can really shine.
Seventeen and Loona have from what I've seen also some nice choreo's and dance performances.
But IZ*One's touch was that their choreo had a flourishing quality to it.
