Your assumption is these ppl didn’t choose not to have creative input.

Assuming that the first option is you can't give any input in your entire career, I'd be fine to not have any creative input if this isn't my forte. Being in a big company is guaranteed proper support and less of a gamble.

I think it depends. If I know i do not have the capability, I will go for the Big 3.
