honestly who cares if the one person got less lines then the rest if the song is good then the song is good. They are all getting the same pay when they preform live at concerts, they all share the same trophy when then win shows, like all the achievements will go to the whole group so if doesn’t really matter
If the song is amazing then line distribution is irrelevant.

I can understand this thought process and in the big scheme of things this is partially true but I still strongly dislike the horrid line distributions. Mainly because these people have trained for years and sometimes over a decade only to be mistreated.

Mostly agree but I still think members need the bare minimum and some songs don't do that. Like you see someone get 3 seconds of lines in a group with not that much members.
No one should be putting the blame on any members though as if people love to think they know exactly what happens behind the scenes.

It doesn’t have to be perfect but think all members should at least have an acceptable amount of lines. If the song only fit two of the members maybe pick another song? You’re a group after all, consider all the members.
And this is going to sound harsh but if there’s a members who’s voice just never fit the same songs as the rest of the members, resulting in them barely getting any lines comeback after comeback, they better be great at something else, main dancer or killer stage presence. If not maybe they shouldn’t have debuted.

Every idol has their strengths and weaknesses. So what's the point in giving an equal amount of lines to all members if some members are weaker singers? In the case of vocal focused songs of course.
But people always jump on conclusions, screaming "mistreatment!!" at every occasion even when it's not really justifed, like with Shuhua of (G)I-DLE.

You're right, I think line distributions can be frustrating when it's the same members over and over again but that won't change the quality of the song.
BST and Spring Day are two of my favorite BTS title tracks despite the line distributions being tragic.
For TXT I also love New Rules but it's frustrating because his voice does fit the song's vibe and I just don't get why he's so little lines

It's a very loaded question that doesn't make sense anyway. Companies are not about "giving" things. A member just has to be competent enough to perform, and check a few boxes that may increase the group's brand value on the market. Being good looking on camera can be enough in that regard. Or hailing from a particular country to draw interest there.
If a member's voice is nowhere to be heard, it's likelier that he/she doesn't have this "amazing" voice that you imagine.
