Not to mentioned the fact that he has ruined a lot of groups and artists through his own megalomania. It's not a coincidence that Wonder Girls best album was one where he was not totally involved.
Only in K-pop can a complete and utter mediocrity like JYP be considered a legend.

That's a lot of piles and piles of mediocre. If he was a songwriter/ producer in the American industry with that track record, he wouldn't even get noticed, let alone live off of the royalties of all that trash.

Perhaps, but he did write some very successful songs for wondergirls (Nobody, 2 Different Tears, So Hot) I.O.I (Very Very Very) and TWICE. I mean, if he only wrote only good song, I would be the fisr one to admit he got lucky, but there are still some gems in his repertoire.

Don't forget the times he also charted on the U.S. Billboard Top 100 and Top 10 with songs he wrote for Will Smith, Mase and Cassie. Or the time the song he wrote for the Jpop group SMAP charted at number 1 on Oricon. And more recently his new group NiziU breaking all sorts of Oricon records with the song he wrote for them. Just in case you think JYP's success is limited to Kpop.
Of course, music taste is subjective, and you may wish to continue in your belief that the music he makes is mediocre. That is your right. But apparently it is not an opinion shared by much of the general public in at least three countries. He has more than 50 #1 hits on the charts. Please let me know when your bias reaches 20% of his songwriting record.

I don't know much about him but I do know that JYPE is trash for all the shit that they did to their idols over the years
And since JYP does seem quite controlling - yeap he's management style is crap but I disagree that he has written mediocre songs - in fact lots of song's he written are legendary (see @Haolat's post above - that's an impressive list)
