I think Rado and Kyusung, and whole creative team is working to make STAYC a group which will be different from others that we have on the market.
I don't know what's your take here but in my opinion it seems like BEP duo is tryin to make STAYC's 'color' something between APink and Miss A, but having in mind that they can't give "senior"/sexy style songs to rookie group which has two '04 liners.
Still So Bad, and Like This were bops, now we also have diversity on Staydom album, each song is different, and what's important they give fans songs, not just barely a single album with one song, we already have 5 new songs from them in half of year. I'm happy, and they have good sales and charting well now, so it's all good.

Isn’t it always like that? I mean brave brothers with brave girls, duble sidekick with momoland, shinsadong tiger with exid (although exid has more bops than the former groups). These producers seem like they only know how to produce good song for other groups than their own

Bep produced a lot of bops, but their style is to create a different sound to suit each of their clients, so you’re not gonna find a song similar to their previous one when it’s for 2 different groups. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn’t. Bep’s takes on twice and apink and sistar and chungha’s sounds were all knock-outs and gave us great songs that suit the essence of each artist (like ooh ahh, cheer up, tt, likey, fancy; only one, i’m so sick, eung eung, duhmdurum; touch my body, i like that, lonely; roller coaster, gotta go). They also produced happy for wjsn tho and that song was a dud lol. So yeah, i think that’s just the case this time for stayc. Bep’s vision of them didn’t quite produce a stellar result. Maybe they’ll figure it out later; maybe they won’t. It happens

I’ll be honest, when I first heard the teaser for ASAP I was really excited. The chorus is really catchy but after listening to the whole song I don’t know how I feel about it now.
The verses were lacking tbh and it just didn’t give me that oomph that So Bad did. This honestly sounds more like a bside than a title track. Hopefully BEP gives them a more stellar song their next comeback (something like Fancy/Rollercoaster level).
