Jonghyun has always been an exemplary artist. From being street-casted by SM, debuting in SHINee, and writing the lyrics to Juliette a year later, to continuing to write music for SHINee as well as his own solo career and other artists, and becoming a radio DJ and author. His talent as a vocalist, composer, and songwriter is truly unmatched.

I am so incredibly grateful to Jonghyun for sharing his passion with the world. There are so many times where his songs have amazed, comforted, and inspired me, and I'm sure this is true for anyone who's had the pleasure of listening to his music. I'm grateful for his work as Jjong-D, for hosting Blue Night for three years. I'm grateful that he's allowed us a glimpse into his soul through his words and his voice. I'm grateful that he was always open and trusting of fans, and shared his feelings and opinions honestly.
