How should SM's next BG be like?

Ultra-experimental because why not

I want another bg like exo but with less members

not NCT

I want a cute concept like chewing gum

Looking how they went with an experimental concept with aespa so i wouldn't be surprised if they did the same with this new bg

Nothing like the groups you mentioned. They should have their own identity. Obviously if the group mimics some old gen group, their will be added backlash from the particular fandom.

LMAOOOO POSSIBLE, SM can do anything. The way SM is moving towards Technology .

but the bg can go for completely different route that SM always produces. Full vocal group without any rapper, a fantasy type concept ( not Als), more of contemporary dance skills, etc.

Most of the thing listed are already things NCT does in several songs and units (cute concept, sound like TVXQ on bsides, ultra experimental) so maybe a rock band? That’s something they don’t.

Seeing how NCT is going to be a cashcow for the next years but they are heavy fandom based I would expect something not as experimental as NCT as I think SM Will try to captivate a part of the GP while keep being known for their uniqueness, so I'd expect something between EXO and Shinee, not that hip/hop focused.

It's gonna be different that others will call it "weird" but other groups will try it later on.
