Would your parents kick you out of home after 18 years old?

only if i had somewhere to go

my parents would probably be fine if I lived with them well past 18, as long as I can be independent and can do most things for myself and help out ofc.

yeah i'd be expected to go to college

No, my parents went to work in other countries when I was a teenager (my mother left when I was 15 and my father went with her when I was 17).
Considering that I had to live with only my grandfather at that age (whose home was a few houses away) and my parents would visit only on holidays, they had no problem with me living at home when I turned 18. Someone had to take care of the house in their absence and I was going to college anyways in that period (college that's in my city), I wasn't working either.
Edit: I forgot to mention that expecting 18 years old people to move out of the house right away is not a thing in my country. Most parents support their children in their early 20s until they finish college and move out on their own. And even then, if there's a problem and the child is left without a home for a period of time, the parents would give support and shelter until the child manages to put him/herrself back on his/her feet.

i had to leave when i was 18 because of uni and then i got employed and never went back to live there full time. but we don't have that "tradition" in our culture, sons and daughters are expected to keep living in their parents house until they get married and get houses of their own or when they have to study or work faraway. otherwise they just stay at their patents' house their whole life.

They haven't, they actually moved out and left home for us lol it sounds pretty weird ik but currently me and my siblings have home for ourselves while my mom live in another state and my dad lives in the house he grew up as a child with his other 2 brothers, occasionally visiting us at weekends or staying for longer. My mom visit us when she can. I live with my older (27) and younger brother (21).
