K-Pop was going global, garnering significant international interest, successfully holding concerts abroad and gave us absolute superstars before you got into the hobby.
I know it's nigh impossible for people not to disrespect and discredit anything that preceded the time where they became a fan of any special interest, but Google and Wikipedia are right there. Ignorance is not an acceptable excuse for some of the nonsense I've read this week.
People really think K-Pop was some primitive stone age tiny niche community before third generation started.
Oh, and also, there are plenty of us who were fans back then. So yes, we know who f(x), Super Junior, Shinee, Big Bang, TVXQ, SNSD, Kara, Sistar, Wonder Girls, 4Minute and so many other groups are.
