People Who Unstan Are So Weird

When I am done with a group or idol, I just unfollow them on sns and move on. There's too many groups to move onto and there's no point wasting my energy on a group/idol I've moved on from.

When I unstan, I even stop listening to their songs

Some people unstan and keep listening to all their songs

yea this is just strange behavior to me. I can maybe understand announcing it in cases like we've seen recently like KIOF but say your piece and move on. It's the ones who never leave yet keep reminding you why they are getting off the bus over and over.

I would never even unstan any of the groups that I do stan. Like I don't enjoy Twice's music or follow them as much these days but I'm never going to take an official stance on unstanning them lol, it's just silly. Maybe it's because many fans are young but it just seems like people don't understand you don't need to be all in or nothing. It's natural to lose interest over time, even in things you really love.

It defo gives attention seeking! Or even worse validation

Edit: I think most times people will unstann quietly and wish the group/ idol the best. Some situations like the recent KIOF people wanted to be loud to prove a point about racism or racial ignorance. Outside the rare occasions it’s the above

Considering the public aspect of it, then I agree. I particularly hate when it's like a fanwar and someone's criticizing a group and goes "yeah I used to stan them so I know what I'm talking about" like ok sorry SORRY. sorry i'll leave. you know all.

This is vicous, he's unbearable. Ugh! It just serves as an exemple of how much we see things based on how we perceive ourselves. This is absolutely sad.

Pretty sure the only two groups he stans are MAMAMOO and YoungPosse. Any other one is just a front.
