Tbh this is the best thing to do That’s very sad how 180 died instantly in a Plane clash in South Korea. It would feel wrong to celebrate publicly after this prayers and thoughts go out to their family

my understanding is that pre-recordings happened at 6-7AM today

I know it's not your 'usual' situation and it's tragic accident

but if some if not most recordings were done then maybe postpone the broadcast one week later during Epiphany, also known as Three Kings Day on 6th January?

or do something on Lunar New Year?

I know kids have winter vacation from mid december to end of january so they are not going to school, and as middle and high schoolers are probably the ones who would watch most of it maybe that's the way?

Yeah all the collabs we were looking forward to but we will get other times I think right now Korea needs unity, love and support through this awful tragedy

Golden Disc Awards are on 4-5th January but it's in Fukuoka and it's next week so I guess it will happen normally

What a horrifying tragedy. 177, likely 179 when accounting for the 2 missing people, losing their lives is just incomprehensibly sad.

Forget all the programs that will need to be canceled or rescheduled.

Korea needs time to mourn and heal from this.

Seeing the updates in theqoo and korean news site was so devastating bc it seems by the people that was rescued that maybe MAYBE the other people could be rescue but no, it just got worst

It's the right thing to do. Too many people died in plane crash. It's a very unfortunate accident. May they rest in peace. It's only natural that the music show was cancelled.

This is wild of me probably but i think it might be better to have a more somber performance in memory of. I feel like here in the US it kind of lifts my spirits when we have a tragedy as a nation but are able to come together and support each other and raise money etc
