Imagine you and your best friend from your first year of middle school are sitting together, discussing your dreams and ambitions for the future.
After talking, you realize you both have the same dream: to become singers, and you decide to make it a reality--together.
That's the story of Wheein and Hwasa, and I won't stop telling it for as long as I'm a K-Pop fan.
These girls have been sisters since middle school and went to HUNDREDS of auditions together.
They obviously had the talent and the passion even as young middle schoolers
But just think on the amount of will power, resilience and even a little bit of luck it took for them BOTH to debut as idols AND even debut in the same group AND become one of the legendary girl groups of all time.
It's impossible. But it happened.
They tried together. They cried together.
And in the end they triumphed together.
From a talent show in a local middle school gymnasium to superstar singers who have both achieved a Perfect All-Kill on the charts.
But the beauty isn't just in the success they achieved but in their struggle and commitment to overcome it all together.
I'm going old school Yama to make sure I give a spotlight to one of the most precious friendships in the industry.
