They really are the B-E-S-T and reminded everyone of that tonight

Absolutely no way these QUEENS don't merit their own thread after their legendary return to the big stage tonight.

Speaking of, they ate the stage up with their presence alone, like no other girl group can.

Minzy's crazy talent (Did you see the mid-verse SPLIT??)

    Dara's wildly eccentric hair

CL's pure power and captivating charisma

Bom's signature and instantly recognizable vocals and tone?

THIS is the pinnacle of K-Pop girl group live performance, and also proof why the industry NEEDED 2NE1 back so badly. I can't wait to see their plans for 2025, and I hope their tour eventually takes them stateside, because I will buy a ticket to that show without hesitation and finally make up for missing them more than a decade ago.

    Welcome back home, 2NE1 :meme-happy-cry:

  • I watched the performance and I enjoyed it, but CL hard carries the group stage presence almost alone imo. She is way above the others 3 and it's quite obvious.

In this performance I'll say she is 50% of the performance, Minzy, who improved even more is like 25%, Dara, that actually surprised me here with how confident she is, is like 20% and Bom 5%.

It's a nice and nostalgic stage, but CL really is unmatchable, damn, too powerful. I think she is the best female idol performer, her voice is amazing, strong and stable, she dances well, has charisma, really the face of 2ne1.

Who is CL? The one with sunglasses at beginning?

  • They are ridiculous, they were like those old tours with those outdated stars from the past. I had to pause every 30 seconds because I couldn't stop laughing.

CL who still thinks she's 20 and cool, someone stop her please ... And these outfits....what the hell is this?

No, and you know very well who is above. They also showed Park Bom what it was like to be a main vocalist when they performed "i miss you" in Queendom.

"If you have time to fantasize about a beautiful end, then just live beautifully 'til the end."

I don't demand you agree with me, but you will be respectful. It shouldn't be that much of a hurdle to show some grace and class, especially when we're discussing one of the most iconic girl groups in the history of the industry and the true pioneers of every iteration of girl crush we've seen since

And you know who looked up to 2NE1 and were deeply inspired by their legendary songs and career, ever since they were middle school besties back in 8th grade?

    Be better than this, fam

  • I was not into kpop during second gen, so I don't have nostalgic goggles, but I can see G dragon is different from others

    :pepe-grooving::pepe-dj:

Keep in mind CL was a ROOKIE that year

    Queen shit.

  • This is actually first time I see Teddy performing at stage

  • I will always honor and acknowledge what these ladies were a part of. They shifted the game in a legendary way. They had imitators, but no one could do it quite as stylish as them.

  • Yes, that's CL, the one and only baddest female. The true Queen of YG. NO female idol has her force and aura in the history of K-Pop. And if it's a male idol, the only one I'd rank ahead of her would be the legend who closed the show tonight.

With this I agree. No female idol has her aura and stage presence. She is insane and above her just GD, damn, to think yge had THE LEADERS and just wasted them after years...

YG really fumbled hard later on,. especially in the 2020s, but that run from 2007 to 2016ish was one of the most dominant any label has EVER had.

2NE1 never should've gone in the dungeon in the first place.

Yep, and it's ironic seeing how yge new groups are flopping hard in sk so they just go to others directions when this should be done with 2ne1 at that time...

And yes, 2007 to 2016 was gold gold gold. It's a pity we don't have them anymore...
