yg's unique culture, history and identity are what keep its reputation alive right now. yg is economically at bottom. on the other hand jyp is doing better than I thought it would, and sm is just slaying as always. hype is going to replace yg for the future.

Not a coincidence that they suddenly managed to re-sign 2ne1, sent them on tour and have dropped merch immediately - even a new lightstick and merch collabs. 2ne1 likely agreed because they want their name and after this contract is up, they'd be covered under the new law and would get it without a fuss.

Erm, I don't people should be celebrating JYP's performance that much.

It just shows how stingy and greedy they are.

They could invest another million in to each of their groups and still have the most profit.

They are stingy, it simply means that less of their Artists' money will be spent on extravagance, leaving more profit to be divided for those Artists.

What's the point of spending an extra million to promote TWICE, making them slave to film those promotions and likely not even earn much from all that effort. It's far better to split that money with the members which is likely to be a 70/30 split in favor of TWICE

Their top acts have already resigned contracts which means JYP gets less share and less with each renewal, and Twice career has been going downhill.

They need new big group to save their *ss, but there isn’t one…

You just can’t rely on older acts and Itzy and Nmixx can’t carry JYP

Tho day6 is among top money makers along with Twice and skz

And JYP’s creative direction is really bad lately and a lot of their songs are mid except several songs from different acts

From a pure business point of view, JYPE has a far brighter future than any of the other Kpop Companies listed because their Net Profits have steadily increased since the introduction of the Division System.

The company is able to release frequent Music and Fan Content because their Artists are in Divisions where they are able to concentrate exclusively on them.

Itzy and NMIXX don't need to carry JYPE, they a multi-million album selling groups that are financially independent which is the most ideal scenario for a Group. Especially when those groups aren't relying on high Korean Song Charting to reach those levels of Sales.

9 year old group TWICE has had Stadium sell outs in Japan while their sub-unit MiSaMo is doing 4 Concerts at Domes this year. In 2024, TWICE have had a Korean and Japanese Comeback and will have another Korean Comeback. Nayeon and MiSaMo had a comeback while Tzuyu had a debut. This is how a company should treat their veteran GG. The groups revenue has massively increased in 2024.

A third of JYPE's Revenue came from Merchandise Sales, that's what all those Comebacks translate to.

In 2018, JYPE introduced the Division System, in this quarter alone, the company had more Revenue than 2018 proving the success of the Division System.

Jyp need to get a good songs again this trash songs of their gg please!!!! Enough of that. Don’t care about their boy groups they can compose their own songs and getting popular by it
