Sooo whats stopping these huge kpop companies from dropping MV's of this quality???

Kpop itself it's a niche, but XG is an even smaller niche.

I love their aesthetic, but kpop is the complete opposite and almost no idol has the ability to pull it off like them, they match this concept without looking weird. Do you see 15yo idols matching it? .....

XG found some success in kpop community, but that's it.

This isn't true.

XG was formed by Xgalx, a company that is a subsidiary of Avex, and Avex is a giant entertainment conglomerate that has been around since the 1980s.

So XG actually has a lot of money behind them.

I think it's not worth to invest on MV, it's very expensive

it's true that their m/v is very interesting and futuristic.

If this group were korean gg , people's views would be different.

If you have good enough music and are from a big company you don't need to have super flashy MVs. If you are from a smaller company and your music is a bit... "meh", you mabye need to spend a bit extra on MVs to draw attention.

Anyways Armageddon ended every MV that was released this year by any artist in the world

That's exactly it. For example, Gidle had one of the most expensive MVs with Super Lady, but their b-side Fate outperformed it. I assume Klaxon was much cheaper to produce and that had a bigger impact

Tbf,while their MV while look high budget, it seems tacky and doesn't compliment the songs. I am busy watching the MV cause too many elements going on but I don't really listen to the songs. There don't seem continuity or story telling in video that made me want to engage even with members, so I just stop it in the middle.

I think the example of good MV is Cookies. It is cheap but looks artistic and fit the song, and the main characters are still the members.

every group has a trademark the company focus on, may it be concept, lore, songs etc , imo this is part of theirs
