Well it depends on how many times you resign your contract with a company!
Shinee resigned their group contracts for 5th time last year If I’m not mistaken! So by logic they get better splits in each renewal of the contracts!

If that's the amount they get from the Company according to their contracts then it's a fair deal for the older acts.
If Exo gets 70% of their profit then it's OK. It can be better and I'm sure another contract renewal will earn them better terms.
And for those idols that successfully toured around the world like NCT, I'm sure they made much more than that. If one unit alone can sell out stadiums and domes then that money is less than they should earn.

Well Twice is a younger group than Exo, Shinee so I guess it is fair?
Also I don’t know about Exo, but Shinee is muuuch more involved in their albums, styling, songs and etc.
Key styles some outfits, Minho and Key write their rap parts! They write some of their songs each cb and have very deep creative input in Mvs and album styling. So I guess it saves funds

That’s why big4 seem like the best route financially 
not so much for how successful their idols are although they do have better chances of reaching big but the less debt and great pay early on seems great

Cuz they had the entire dorm for themselves, and had someone doing cooking for them
I don't know if it's the same thing in other company, i usually never heard kpop groups talk about staying in their dorm once each member start to get their own appartment
