He is very handsome but to think he will reportedly join penthouse season 3 ..next to all these top class actors and intense plot, I really wonder how he will do. Maybe he'll actually shine more in a darker role, who knows.

I saw him in a variety show. The reason why producers keep hire idol actors because of attracting more audiences and many bit cheap than famous actors.

His acting isn't that great but it didn't affect the kdrama unlike other bad actors. It's passable.

I have seen him in To Be Continued, The Best Hit, True Beauty, and Rookie Historian. To me he acted wonderfully in Rookie Historian. He does well when he can portray various emotions.

I watched worse ones in kdramas. I think Cha Eun Woo plays just fine. His acting didn't bother me. His character in Rookie Historian was fun, for example. I guess some of them just mistakenly play the cold character. He plays with his eyes, even if he doesn't make excessive facial expressions. Like Furious, loneliness, pain.

He’s a pretty good actor imo. I’ve seen a lot of people say that his acting in true beauty was bad, but I personally think his acting was fine. He’s really good a depicting certain emotions he’s trying to convey. I do agree that I’d like to see him play different roles instead of the stereotypical “cold hearted cute boy”. Other than that, he’s all around a good actor to me.

Only saw him in true beauty, he was okay.

Didn't impress me, but didn't bother me that much either.
