LE SSERAFIM 4th Mini Album 'CRAZY' TRAILER <Chasing Lightning>

  • the part with the dog barking over the beat reminds me of Van Vogue by Azelia Banks, and I hope they keep it in the final song (probably a b-side)

heard it for the first time, bop :pepemusic:

  • Certain people can and certain people can not. It's oversimplification that public opinion or people can be changed anytime. They cannot because many people are biased. And another perspective to see from: should we adhere to every ctirique we get or do we have the freedom to say that we are like this, we will try to succeed like this. You can't be appreciated by everyone.

I don't think there's a limit to what you can do. If you really want to change, you can do it. People who didn't change, they never wanted to change in the first place.

Haters will hate, but that's not opinion anyway, so it doesn't matter, but like many other celebs, not just in Kpop they changed the opinion of the public. I mean, just look at Legendary artists, like: Queen, Elvis or in Kpop, IU, SNSD (search for the Black Ocean), Sistar's Hyolyn, Hwasa and Mamamoo in general, and many others. If people fairly criticize your talent, or even if it's not fair, you can prove them wrong with working harder and doing better next time. That's what I meant. If people see you not giving up, most of them will change their mind eventually, or at least they will move on.

In my opinion, most people don't want to change, because they grew up thinking you can't change, that's what people around us telling us.

The biggest problem in ART not just in the music industry is that these so called "artists", I mean, the companies, don't want to create art, they want to create trends and chart topping songs. People are not that dumb, they will realize if an artist love what they're doing. If an artist only making something to earn money, it's never gonna resonate with people. You can make trendy songs, movies, or shows etc, but trends are changing on a daily basis. If you follow the trends, you're never gonna have your own way of thinking. You're just following others.

Anyway, I answered because I hate not to but I have really bad experiences with you (yes this is fully personal) and I honestly think you are agressive and dismissive with your opinions regarding LSF. I don't know why you need to always quote me and why you can't accept pespectives differing from yours, even though your mind can't be changed at all. But you causing me stress knowing that you will not take into consideration what I have to say but will keep trying to make discussions so I will block you and feel free to block back.

I don't have a problem with LSF, what I said was 90% about HYBE and Source and 10% about Sakura. And what I said about the alleged meaning of this teaser has nothing to do with LSF, it was a general opinion.

I can accept different opinions, but I don't have to agree with you or anyone else. You can block me, I don't care, but if you don't like to exchange opinions and arguing normally with people, you shouldn't be here at all. I don't think there's a point of agreeing with everything and everyone, that's not healthy.

People say, oh you're toxic or a hater, because you have a different opinion. Well, not everyone have to think the same way. Just because I think people can change if they want to, it doesn't mean I'm toxic or a hater or aggressive.

  • I never meant to imply Tyla alone popularized afrobeats, obviously the genre has been popular for a long time, since as early as the 90s or 2000s as I can remember, although it may be even earlier, I just mentioned her because her song Water led to a resurgence in the genre's hype

I also know tropical house has long been a trope in Kpop summer music since at least the 2010s, I was only trying to communicate my appreciation that instead of continuing with the "Smart" sound, which would seem like the obvious choice for their next summer cb, they instead are going with another trend (which I never implied only LSF is doing), electric club

Azealia Banks is great. Unfortunately many know her as more of a meme than an artist because of her extreme behavior, but her impact on rap, house, and voguing/club music is immense. I would be pleased if she became like the next Tinashe and a slurry of kpop artists began taking inspiration from her.

Yes, she is. She should try less arguing on social media and focus more on her art.

  • LE SSERAFIM might have the best trailers for any 4th-gen group.

Based on the trailer, though, I also have a feeling the MV will be censored or banned by South Korean broadcasting just like what happened with the one scene from "EASY" MV.

I don't see any reason why they should ban or censor this. This doesn't seem anything special or over the top.

  • I don't see any reason why they should ban or censor this. This doesn't seem anything special or over the top.

I'm not sure if you know, but the "EASY" MV got banned by one broadcasting station or network because there was a scene that implied a plugged-in hairdryer would be placed into a bathtub of water. The reason of the ban was to prevent children from copying and endangering themselves.

I can see how KBS might do the same for this upcoming MV if the members go "chasing lightning" like that. There's also the scene with Eunchae standing at the edge of the building or structure, but I don't know if that would be in the MV.

No hate. Just making an observation, really.

  • they instead are going with another trend (which I never implied only LSF is doing)

you don't have to imply, everybody knows LSFM are the biggest offenders when it comes to chasing trends, reggaeton, afro beats, country, r&b trap - all the shebang. At least have some ounce of music identify - remember easy? word for word, bar for bar smh

Yeah, I heard about the EASY ban, and honestly I'm kind of agree about that, but so far I don't see why they should do the same with this one.

I mean, sure those parts that you mentioned are not for kids, really, but it's not like kids will chase lighting, it's not that simple. To be fair, when I was young, a kid jumped from a window asking for the Flying Nimbus, because of Dragon Ball, and my country banned the whole anime for 10+ years.

The standing in the edge of the building is nothing special imo. Kids can see it basically every movie or show, even in animation. For me, them drinking energy drink at age 8-10 is a bigger issue, not to mention seeing their parents coming home drunk.

My opinion is that celebs (and influencers) in general can influence people, mostly kids, but it's the parent's job to teach them. I don't see any reason to censor art. They can do a Warning at the beginning or something. It's not like kids can't watch anything they want anyway. You can't hide anything from them anymore.
