    Again, not to sound redundant, but this is another song that makes me nostalgic for that old-school YGE musicality. BABYMONSTER doesn't miss with the rap verses. That's for sure.

    "Stay WITH me" - STAYC

    This is my favorite song on STAYC's recent album. It's a song dedicated to the fans, but instead of being another fan-dedicated ballad, it incorporates a rock-inspired guitar riff. There's something uniquely satisfying about all of it. It just works.

    When I heard this and saw the MV, I instantly thought of "chill summertime in Japan" vibes. Very "slice of life anime." Love that they went in a city pop direction this time.

    I mean for me of course Lee Chae Yeon is also on my list as she is one of my ult soloists. But seriously 2024 has been an GREAT year for music across the board.


    • Exile Tribe has been releasing a lot of good music from all of it's sub units this year
    • SG5 rebranded as F5ve and their songs Lettuce and Underground stay on repeat.
    • Spot with Jennie has been getting lots of play for me (as well as the rest of the world too it seems)
    • &Team put out an amazing EP this year
    • Stay C has been doing awesome
    • Aespa has not put out a single song this year that I have disliked
    • Love Ain't It from the new Descendants movie is really awesome. Rita Ora as the Queen of Hearts was not something I knew I needed. Also Brandy returning as Cinderella made me SQUEAL.
    • As much as people might laugh at me I even love the BBNO$ songs that dropped recently
    • The BE:FIRST X ATEEZ — Hush Hush song and MV is phenomenal
    • XG has continued to put out really strong music
    • I loved the new Everglow EP
    • Megan thee Stallion has been putting out I think the best content she ever has and the new album is REALLY diverse. I do not care about who thinks her Japanese accent is silly.
    • INI's new EP has not a single skippable song
    • Kiss of Life has continued with consistent and quality music throughout the year too

    And i agree with you, the music is better this year. I can't remember any notable summer songs last year

    aespa's Armageddon album is pretty good. Have alot of their songs download. Their BAHAMA is a good chill summer song, sounds refreshing.

    Wheein Coco Water, love the upbeat and she has always been great.


    H1key Let it burn, if they have a live band with this, it'll be a banger~


    QWER T.B.H- MV officially straight outta highschool manga, haha. Their vocalist Siyeon is really talented. She was a JPOP singer and re-debuted again as KPOP.


    Red Velvet Last Drop. It played after Sunflower and I was like, this song is kinda freakn good???
