I'd be very surprised if she debuts in China BUT I'd take anything from Tzuyu at this point. Plus her singing in Mandarin is so lovely

I would also be surprised, given her history. It does say Chinese version, which suggests there's at least one other version, so this may not even be the one she promotes.

OMG this would be huge if this is true.

It's not just the fact that Tzuyu is getting a solo. A Chinese release would mean the loosening of JYP's grip on Tzuyu in the Chinese market.

I'm not fond of the idea of Tzuyu promoting in China but it would probably allow her to perform in Taiwan without problems in the future... I want Tzuyu to perform there even if just once as a singer

I think alot of people are concern with the potential risk of promoting in China.

But with where Twice is positioned currently, they don't really anything to lose. It's not like they'll get even less Chinese support than they already have lol

With all the circus in 2016 I don't think Tzuyu will enter mainland China. At most Hong Kong or Macau.

As a Taiwanese American, I don't want Tzuyu to debut in China or Taiwan.

She deserves to pursue her career without being dragged into unnecessary political issues from both countries.

If I had to pick a country for her to debut, Japan would be the best.

I'm certain she wants to pursue a career in her own country. She's the only member of Twice who has never gotten the opportunity to do so, all because of some political shenanigans, and that's unfair to her.

Promoting in Japan won't fill that void, not to mention that's something she's already done plenty. I don't think she should have to placate the Chinese in any way in order to promote in Taiwan either. It's not like they get much support from that country. If JYP had a spine, the whole thing would've been handled far differently.
