i think it’s a good thing too. a fandom cleanse from company stans isn’t necessarily a bad thing and may even solidify our fandom unity more.

i’d rather have less overall people than just zombie stans who stan that damn building.

Main discussion last few days was about how they didn't enter Spotify US, but doing well everywhere. So, they did lose some casual listeners internationally.

Hybe will see all their girl groups are affected due to the scandal, especially the latter two in Korea not going to chart either. Not something unexpected. Let's see how they will minimize the damage moving forward.

It's a sad fact that scandals between companies, labels or groups elaminate multifans, good and bad. And also it encourages toxic one-group-fans too. In the last few days trolls became the most vocal and most liked on both sides. It's a win-lose, win-lose.

This past month has shown who actually likes the group and who likes them as another trophy to add to their faves achievements. So called "fans" are talking about these girls like they aren't even human. It's been a long time since I've seen so many people degrade idols as puppets that aren't allowed to have their own opinions over their careers, not allowed to question their company and claim they have no value or appeal beyond what's given to them. Hybe stans are not coming back even if Min Heejin gets removed and I don't want them back either. Thankfully, not everyone is a Company Stan, MHJ stan or parasocial freak and take their faves battles as their owns. I remain liking BTS and NewJeans and not caring about the other groups just as much as before, nothing changed other than I feel sorry the members might be under stress due to the whole situation.

Company stans are dangerous for a multi-label system like Hybe. Once any of these companies disobey Bsh, these fans will turn their backs as well. Just one month ago, Hybe stans were using NewJeans' achievements against SM, JYP, YG and SS girl groups but ditched them right away after Hybe announcement about Min Hee Jin. Even in this forum. So here, you know the girls never mattered to them but the building and Bang Si Hyuk. Sometimes I wonder if they are really stanning these idols or just there for the satisfaction of stanning a successful company.

Now, those company stans have moved to Illit and Lsrfm, which is good luck for these groups. They are just another pawn to bring other groups down. The toxicity inside fearnot fandom suddenly high these past few weeks too. It is scary that you can definitely tell their fanbase suddenly flooded by company stans just by looking at how their fandom move these days. Anyway, for these people, these idols are not human but toys to satisfy their bragging rights or just medals to celebrate and then toss aside. So, it's just much healthier without these kind of stans bc less brainrot kpop stans will using the group for fanwar.

People who trash NJs [members] now based on nothing burgers, were never their fans.

In addition to losing Hybe multistans, they will also lose success stans in Korea and internationally like Ive did when NJ beat them 2 years ago, now that Aespa have beaten them. These success stans would have stuck with them, if NJs had beaten Aespa, but they just move like the wind to success stan whoever is the trending group.

1. Aespa more album sales in week 1 on Hanteo > NJ who dropped 46.4%

2. Aespa #1 on all Korean charts > NJ who dropped 22.2%

3. Aespa Spotify Global streams > NJ who dropped 61.3%

I literally say they moved to both groups in my sentence above? As I followed Lsf and not Illit, it's more obvious to me what changed inside the fandom. Both have vocal controversies anyway, so what's the difference?

NewJeans fans should be glad that they escaped these morons. It's not like these company stans never dragged LSF before for their real faves, and even loudly participated in hating them during that Coachella controversy, and Illit too during their encore stage, saying it's because of them other Hybe groups are getting dragged, and both groups should be disbanded, and so on. At least now, NJ fans can now proudly say they still do well without company stans' support in the middle of this chaos and boycott from some groups of kpop fans.
