The biggest 3rd gen group in Kpop aint Blackpink or Twice. And the best 3rd gen dancer aint Lisa or Momo or Seulgi.

    It's Oh My Girl.


    The lack of respect this group gets is insane. Folks be talking nonstop on AKP, Reddit, Pannchoa, TW, YT and Insta about groups that have like 12 percent of the song quality and stage presence as Oh My Girl. Meanwhile OMG gets like 1 thread every fiscal year.


    And as for best dancer in 3rd gen, no one comes close to Yooa. I watched about 100 videos of her over the past month, this girl is INSANE. She moves seamlessly between cutesy to sexy to hip hop and everything in between.


    Just look at her yesterday. I made a thread a few days ago bemoaning how much weight she has lost but i cannot deny it, she looks amazing here, plus she's doing it as a literal senior citizen in Kpop at almost 29 years old.

    For me, it's nonsense, how underrated OMG and Mamamoo were back in the day. Yooa is like a mix between Hwasa and Wheein. She can dance like Wheein and have the stage presence of Hwasa. Vocally, she's not as strong, but on stage, she's mad! Many people say the best dancer in the 3rd gen is either Momo or Lisa and both of them are great, BUT, I never felt that they have a good flow and mostly versatility. To be fair, they didn't have many opportunities to show their versatility. Both TWICE and Blackpink were limited by their agencies. Just like Red Velvet, but not as much as the other two.


    Dance: Wheein and Yooa are pretty much the same. I'm no dancer, so I don't know how to say this, but when they move, it's like a river, clear and simple flow. What a way to describe their style. 🤣 Her Queendom performance was INSANE, especially the MJ dance cover. Wish Wheein wouldn't have any mental health problem, maybe they could've done something together on Queendom.


    Stage presence: Hwasa and Yooa, because Hwasa is something else.

    Seungyeon is the best 3rd gen dancer and was the main dancer in CLC. She lives and breathes dance. There are many dance videos of her on Youtube and Instagram. She pretty much blows Yooa out of the water as a dancer. I think she's probably the only semi-known idol who can compete on a show like SWF.
