Exciting Updates: Resuming 3rd Generation Badges!

Hello, everyone,

I'm thrilled to bring you some exciting updates regarding our forum badges. As many of you may know, our plans for 3rd generation badges were put on hold a while ago. However, I'm pleased to announce that we're now resuming these efforts!

Resuming 3rd Generation Badges: After a hiatus, we're excited to resume the process of introducing 3rd generation badges to our forum. These badges will play an integral role in recognizing and celebrating the contributions of our community members.

New Badges, New Rules: With the resumption of 3rd generation badges, we're introducing new rules to enhance community involvement in the badge creation process. While the staff will still be in charge of selecting the groups that badges will be made of, we're empowering you, the community, to take the lead in badge creation. Only the groups designated by the staff are allowed to start the deliberation process.

Here's how it works: each fandom will have a month to select pictures, make badges, deliberate and hold voting rounds to select the winning badges.

I've created a subforum for this specific reason: BADGE CREATION HUB

Once the voting ends and the winning badges are chosen, tag me, and our content team will ensure they meet the criteria before uploading them to the shop.

Important Guidelines: It's crucial to adhere to the rules and guidelines when creating badges. Only badges that align with the specified criteria will be considered. Failure to follow the rules may result in the dismissal of your badges, so let's ensure we're all on the same page and create badges that truly represent our community.

Community Collaboration: We encourage collaboration among fandom members during the badge creation process. Feel free to reach out to each other for input, ideas, and support. In case you don't have a guild, you can open a thread in the badge forum and tag the fandom. Let's harness the collective creativity and expertise of our community to design badges that we can all be proud of.

Kicking off with New Jeans: We've selected "New Jeans" as the theme for our first badge event. Given their popularity and high demand, we believe New Jeans badges will be a fantastic addition to our collection.

Can staff make badges if anyone is unable to make one? I'm unable to make a badge because I am not good at art and can never improve.

When I launch the New Jeans event, you can suggest pictures and members of the fandom can work on them. There are tons of super talented users among us. In case, it doesn't happen, the content team will be more than thrilled to help.

I think in the 2nd round the mods who did the badges told us do start allover with getting 10 supporters on the badges or else it wouldn't be even made and this was extremly bad since I think we did have Kenshi Yonezu-badges in the 1nd round and his badges had been totally gone in the 2nd round since nobody asked for these badges to get them back. Example: you would still do this and tell people they need to get 10 supporter for the badges again, than they won't find 10 people in time or nobody even wants to do this step and in the worst case a specific artist is removed. I know if you boght the badges you can keep them, but imagine a new fan comes to the forum and sees the badges and wonders why they can't purchase the artist no more. Since JPop has fewer fans on here than KPop it will be harder to manage to not loose these badges

Also I think there was a rule for if nobody sends in images to vote for badges they also did something to the artist badges (since the old badges didn't had been stored I guess, so imagine you open a thread to send new badges, nobody would do them and there is non for the artist)

Display More

The purpose of new generation badges is to update the badges. We only replace badges when new ones are made. Since Jpop badges don't get requested to be updated a lot, they are safe and won't be replaced. No one will mess them up or remove them.
