The reason why TWICE didn't do better last year

I think Queen or Do what we like would have been better.

It's a good chill song for sure. I really like the rap parts. Gets a great 8 out of 10 from me.

I love Up No More so much, it's my favorite Bside but I think it suits its position as a b-side.

When b-sides are made, most of the time I can't imagine them as being title tracks and having a mv.

But I will say I loved Jeongyeon and Mina's prechorus and the overall song and I LOVED THE LYRICS

Its actually crazy Ive seen a tonne of Korean fans say the samething.

Not that they specifically wanted UNM as a title but somethibg very similar to it...

They should’ve chosen up no more too because The Girls sung the song how Jihyo wanted and not Jyp. All of them was confident and stable while singing the song live.

Probably has that cute vibe that is very reminiscent of their early sound. Also, the live stages and the outfits for this song was so pretty 😍

JYP really fucked over Twice this past year.

ICSM sounded so much better in the teasers, and the slowed down versions show how insane the song couldve been. Instead, JYP turned this moody emo bop into a crazy out of control screamfest.

Then the real kicker was wasting Cry for Me. This was literally their best song since WIL, and the 2nd dance video is my favorite dance video of the year, supplanting even HYLT's.

Oh yes, Cry For Me would've made an amazing title track with a music video and everything. I felt like it went to waste but I'm glad that it even got out into the public.

hm and might I add, jype literally made a group to go right against Twice in Japan, which may be their biggest music market.

JYPE created NiziU given Twice's insane popularity and Japan, and due to Twice being so well known and being from JYPE, the group obviously gets a lot of attention. Both groups are amazing, but JYPE have literally shifted half of Twice's Japanese fandom into NiziU with that move, obviously to cover for a "possibly-leaving Twice" in 2022.

Can’t stop me and cry for me should have been the title tracks for Twice last year.

As for their performance it’s normal. There still at the top but their slowly coming down. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, it happens with every top group. Your not gonna hit #1 forever. I think the whole ‘live singing’ issue that took place and the hate they got put a lot of stress on them. 2020 was a good year in that they got to relax quite a bit and hopefully did some things they enjoy outside of their celebrity life.

I agree, I listened to Up No More instead of the title track mostly. The song has a very nostalgic and emotional feel.
