i mean english isn't even my first and i still know how to pronounce the word 'posse' but anyway, i don't think they're like newjeans at all. i don't know what to think about this group tbh. i do like mac & cheese tho. good comfort food

This is not NJ at all. First the name HAS TO GO, it's just as cringey in its own way as the weird mashup and messed up English names like El7up, Illin', Riiiiiiiiize, etc. The music and name are just too tryhard, even for Kpop.

This is the first time that i'm wondering if we truly are at the end stage of Kpop where execs have literally run out of ideas and have milked current Western music trends dry to the point where not a single drop of creative juice is left. Maybe it really is time for Kpop to consolidate into three conglomerates at most:

Kakao/SM, Hybe/YG/Naver, and CJ/JYP/Cube/other mid tiers.

TBH this IS the kinda song that could go viral with the meme culture. But in the long run, they will probably end up as a one hit wonder like 5050 and will probably never be taken seriously.
