I don't doubt that BM will smash and do well but at this point if you think they're gonna reach newjeans level then you're delusional
YG's problem is that they're extending this too long and as a result alot of the hype is being lost, they were hinted at in like December and now it's nearly August and there's still nothing
NJ also managed to snag alot of the things that historically made YG groups successful, which is the western appeal, the multiple hits at the same time, etc.
Again I don't doubt they'll do well but they're gonna have to bring something really new & unique to the table to beat NJ, meanwhile everything from that survival show to this rollout is looking like the same old same old from them. You can't really afford that in this climate

Interesting. I can't speak on IVE as I'm simply not familiar with their company or them as a group that much.
But I follow JYPE closely and was paying attention to the Nmixx situation as it unfolded and based my conclusion that their sales were very likely false on a few things, rather than daily distribution of sales.
Like I waited to see if they could chart on any global charts, considering if those sales were Korean they would have enough fan power to do well on Bugs even. They have so far not charted on any global charts. not even Japan or the US. Their China sales being low and dropping album-on-album, their terrible streams, engagements and views, etc. It's a complete picture. You simply cannot convince me their 1m sales are legit.
As for IVE, who knows. Starship are a company that have been embroiled in everything from produce rigging scandals, mediaplay to numerous accusations of chart manipulation in the past. We shall see.

The amazing achievement of NewJeans has surely earned them a spot in the spotlight. The K-pop market is very highly competitive and things may change rapidly. It could be an issue for NewJeans to stand out against a Nugu group

Seeing fifty fifty and all othe groups from small companies.
A nugu can have the biggest success. They would need to continue produce bop after bop and would still need years to build a fandom that could compete with big company fandoms.
