When I watched the barbie movie I was waiting to hear them singing it, but all I got was 10 minutes of Ryan Gosling turning the movie into a musical, than Billie Eilish and Dua Lipa song and that seems to have been it, I waited till the outro rolled in but still didn't heard it cause in the outro was a song that sounded like Nicki Minaj

I think comebacks are prepared and recorded months in advance, so It was hard to predict Barbie would end up being this global phenomenon. I think we may be seeing some Barbie tematic performances in the end-year stages.

Seeing as Kpop industry is usually a few months behind the Western trend cycle I predict a wave of "barbie-core" comebacks in the last half of 2023 or early 2024, just like 2021 saw kpop groups belatedly jumping on The Wknd and Dua Lipa's retro wave of 2020

BP could have done the Barbenheimer theme -- literally the colors people are using

It's a great example of how K-Pop label minds are always a little out of sync with the rest of the world and why it's important they take part in greater cultural convos/ moments like this
