I really thought I wouldn't stan a new group anymore. At least, not to the extent I've been liking newjeans.

The last rookie I liked that much was itzy and It was more than 4 years ago. But their music and performances really brings me so much joy.

I hope the girls continue to develop as artists while bringing more of their amazing work to enjoy

You mean a downward trajectory right? Though I wouldn't blame Newjeans for that. Kpop hasn't been this irrelevant since 2017/2018. Kpop companies are just much better in milking existing fans these days.

The music part of Kpop has lost so much quality over the years which is down to companies investing more in their marketing budget than the music. Hybe is the biggest offender of that.

It was an appreciation thread by a fan for their anniversary and the thread's title was just on purpose to hype them up, there's no explanation and no need to overanalyzing everything.
