Be honest, Stray Kids expanded their fandom at the expense of BTS

Every group that debuted after BTS' global success - and even most of the ones who were being successful alongside them - expanded their fandom "at the expense of BTS" to some point. Simply because their existence and popularity was necessary to widen the reach of K-pop internationally.

But majority of Stray Kids fans don't overlap with BTS fans. If they did, for example, we would've seen one of them falling drastically behind each other in voting during competition that you can only support one group, but It's basically them close and the rest of K-pop just as figurants in voting.

Stray Kids and BTS fandoms, for me, are both big (to different extent, of course), independent and have them as their priority.

I am a BTS fan, but I am a casual fan of Stray Kids.

Don't feel like 'moving'. I can still prioritize BTS while sometimes buying a Stray Kids album.

Just like people can play different sports and prioritize one sport, but dabble in the other.

The overlap between EXO and NCT fandom is close to nonexistent, I'm trying to understand what's your logic here

And actually BTS fandom is far far more present in TxT fandom than on Stray Kids fandom

when GOT7 decided to leave JYP many of their fans went with SKZ. Let's remember that Aghase, ExoL and Armys were the top, but from one moment to the next we don't know anything. I understand that the ones that are Armys went with Ateez, TXT, ENHYPEN, SKZ. If TXT didn't have a decent fandom in Korea they wouldn't be the only ones with a decent digital fandom along with The Boyz at the moment.

HYBE still has the most potential to create the next big thing in terms of bgs since they have few boy groups debuting after TXT, EN-, BND. I predict that the current top 4th gen boygroups won't end up the same when the gen end.
