wouldnt they just be locked in to a 7 year? they literally cant leave
seems like he just creating buzz
e/ read the article, just the same shit from before
No way they just debuted not too long ago and already left their company. The math ain't mathing.
contracts can be broken before their expiry date, if some other rich company is ready to pay contract breaking fee on behalf of members to their original company and members are ready to go through legal hassle then it could be possible

This CEO knows the secret of formula of success so it shouldn’t be a problem to make a new successful group lol. Tbh I can see the girls leaving this label because of him..

Bizarre.
Yeah, exactly.I don't say this to be mean, but they can put a few new girls in their place, call them FIFTY FIFTY and a lot of people (especially non-Kpop fans) will not notice or care.

That's the point. The girls are not as popular as some post-produce group idol to shift labels and stay equally relevant. It's much easier for them to replicate the same success with the FIFTY FIFTY tag than with another name or going individually. It's too soon for them to leave their company. Like didn't they just debut this year?

He not paying them or this is just a mediaplay?
I thought everything going well for them and of course their comeback will do good numbers so this is weird.

I'm reading some tweets/post that the post was mistranslated and it could be he literally meant the members will come back from their hiatus but then again the emotionally charged post of the CEO before doesn't add up, I don't think they signed to a another label yet but have gone AWOL atleast from their company, either way it's a very ThatEscalatedQuicklyMeme.jpg situation.

I do agree with this. We only know that they are kpop girl group.

Checked the post looks like So0mpi made a wrong translation?

I'm leaning on this being some weirdass media play because the other considerations are even more bizzare.
A. Either the members are really treated that badly and the company is really shitty in which case how did they survive making their debut album and cupid.
B. The girls got persuaded and a tad bit dumb for actually following on it.
C. It's somewhere in the middle.
