I'll be honest i was hoping for a top 10 showing by Jisoo on Melon Daily but she is showing top 5 ish Nayeon Pop energy.

Kpop fans have a tendency to completely forget about acts when they go on hiatus. Everyone saying Ive was finished, right up to the minute they released Kitsch, and now they're fixing to get a PAK (unless Jisoo actually blocks them lol). And i'm including myself in the shade, although i was right about not dismissing Ive, Jisoo is proving that 3rd gen isnt ready to go quietly into the night.

amazing! I was hoping for a top 10 or top 5 (at most at first) but at the same I'm not too surprised I feel this song is made to appeal to Koreans. No single English line in there lol

I admit I had my doubts about Jisoo but im glad she proved me wrong. Btw Hype Boy still in top 5 is really impressive for a group less than a year old

I don't completely know korean charts work but jisoo is already no.1 in youtube south korea maybe it hinder I've pak's for sometime

Depends on the song, I think they must have liked this song. Also, Blackpink songs are sometimes mostly in English. Jisoo's debut is a more classical pop song and song in Korean.

When I posted that, I was actually thinking of more 3rd gen groups, like how also Hwasa and Nayeon seemed to outchart their groups with their solo releases at least on k-charts.

I thought the same applied to Jisoo, that she seemed to chart better than BP's latest releases, but if that's not the case then I stand corrected, my bad
