Not all kpop friendships are fake tho. Why would they stand up for a friend if they know they did a bad thing? Maybe they supported them in private.

In Irene scandal , Seulgi showed support for irene in their bubble/lysn app, saying red velvet being always 5.

Irene also showed support to jennie during her lazy scandal .

Twice supporting sana during her japan support scandal etc.

Think there are plenty of support from their friend in kpop though.

This thread is a shaky example but yes a lot of "friendships" btw groups members or other idols is played up or made to look closer on tv then they are, tho a lot of idols have controlled ssn so its not like they can post whatever they want
