[Poll] How many times do you listen to a song before deciding on you feel about it?

2-3 times and it also has to pass the car test. I have to listen to the song while driving.

2 or 3 times, though sometimes i listen to songs months later and decide that i like them

If its not my faves, 1-2 times. If its my faves, maybe 5-10 times.

Once. I am already tuned in to how I feel about a song when I check out previews. After that, it’s a matter of seeing if what I felt about the preview was accurate for the full song.

it depends. each song takes it's own time

Sometimes it's so good/bad I don't even need to finish it. Other times it's just misunderstood and I need to let it cook.

If it's a good song then straight away, otherwise several listens then I perhaps still won't like it.

NEVER trust a song first listen. whether u love it or hate it, the second listen is typically when my real emotions abt it come out.

Actually there is one exception. When a song is really popular.

Real example, no matter what, I could not understand New Jean's song and I just did not like it. But as their popularity grew and their songs kept breaking records, I figured I'm the outlier and something was wrong so I kept relistening to it to make sure I wasn't missing something.

I think after about 30 listens, I decided to add Hype Boy and OMG to my library. I still dont' love it but after many listens, it grew on me enough to add it.

3 is usually the max. the only recent exception for me is aespa's savage. I kept watching dance performances of it, fell in love with the prechorus, then the bridge, then the dubstep breakdown, then the final chorus. and then the song clicked for me.
