Very few singers active in Korea before the Golden Generation of KPop are relevant to the people now.

Billboard had charts before but it doesn't count anything before "Rock around the Clock".

There are some nonKpoppers, like Jewelry who promoted before KPop, but I gave them a break by giving them strikethroughs rather than delete them outright.

  • Jewelry is not considered kpop?

Zico and IU are not pop music?

Kpop just means [South] Korean pop music, is IU a ballad singer or what is her type of music?

There are alot of groups who do well

Yeah I think that's a fair point. Though on the other hand, current artists do possess the advantage of having six music shows a week awarding wins. Historically, it's been more like three or four shows a week.

  • It's very impressive how some 90's groups have this many show music wins for one song with few music shows

Indeed, though one thing to keep in mind is that many of those older music shows didn't have a limit on the number of wins allowed (e.g. a "Triple Crown rule").
