Kpop is doing kidzbop/cutesy music again - do you like it or not?

I actually like Gingamingayo so I don't really mind as long as the song is good.

Yes, no more of this need to be hype all the time, sometimes I just want fun pop music with pink backgrounds.

not saying i love the umpah umpah mv bc i can't stand acting in kpop mvs in general and that mv is definitely chock-full of acting lol but the song doesn't deserve the hate it gets and i'll die on that hill at most just delete the "raps" in the second verse lol and the rest of the song is kidz bop adjacent pop perpection

its all good until those groups that are using it grow up and the can't use anymore and then...

Depends on the content, if it has a just a general cute vibe but with some interesting concept on it like Twice's Likey then yeah I think its cool

if its just some highschool lyrics type of love song then I'm not really into it unless its really catchy, but in the end im not really the target audience anyway so my onion doesnt matter

Cute concept was cool in 3rd gen because the songs were good.

But right now the songs are horrible imo. I hate StayC Teddy Bear, Itzy Sneakers, Tri.be's last comeback etc...

Those are 3 groups who had an amazing streak of good title tracks that got destroyed by this trend

I agree that it depends on the song. But I'm glad we don't have just a bunch of girl crush and I was missing the cute concept. This was one of the best cute concepts though recently

i generally love cute concepts and songs but all the recent cute songs that have come out have been awful
