Not comeback they need to be successful for more than a year.
Not comeback they need to be successful for more than a year.
I’ll be quoting this the 23rd of july
For now, they are definitely top 4th gen in Korea.
Just like they demolished Ive, there is a chance Baby Monster or SM's new girl group can do the same.
Long term the question is, can their style translate to popularity outside Korea where they can hold huge concerts like BP and Twice or not. Korea is very different to the global market.

Thats already looking like its going their way lol.
Their songs already on U.S radio, which is why 2 of their songs "OMG" and "Ditto" been on the Hot 100 for 5 weeks.
Plus there's been a lot of celebrities mentioning them, knowing who they are, and saying they like their music.
They already sold 1 million units in the U.S with their album.
They have 22 Million monthly listeners, and on every Billboard chart, even now.
So many global and domestic brands are working with them, as a group and individually.
I mean its only up from here.

It would be the comeback after their first year is up but sure.
Why would you need to do that like as if I’ve ever questioned them lol. So far the trend has been that GGs can’t maintain relevance for more than a year so that’s why it’s an interesting point to assess their popularity.
they look like 4th gen leaders rn...
For me it is irrelevant what any group ranks in Korea, because the revenue there is peanuts compared to the global market, and the global market is totally different in terms of what is really popular long term. Koreans love Aegyo, the global music fans puke when they see that.
Ador bought into Spotify playlists, which Korean groups do not really do, so its hard to quantity is it that the US really likes their music, or is it because they bought into the Spotify playlists and any other group doing the same would get the same result.

NJ are bigger than all of their competition even without Spotify playlisting internationally imo.
Not yet. They have a lead for sure right now over Ive. Hybe Boy and Ditto are national hits, and Attendant and OMG have great potential to be national hits as well. But Ive has a comeback coming up and they have two national hits themselves in Afterlike and Love Dive (Love Dive is still the song with most weeks in the top 10 of Melon with 33 weeks, and Afterlike still owns the peak UL record for 4th gen with way over 600k ULs).
If Ive's comeback blows up and dominates with 4+ weeks on top of Melon, more peak ULs than OMG/Ditto, and 30+ weeks in the top 10 of Melon....they would be considered tied for the top overall act in Korea.
im expecting a long battle in the coming years, with multiple downfalls, rises, etc. groups can decline and comeback. there's still alot to go through and many years to go
Not yet, BabyMonster and SMNGG are coming
