I prefer their being surpassed by someone I like than by someone I don't like.
And no, I spend most of my effort and money with IU. But I still listen to my other faves more than I listen to other artists across all genres.
So, no, I don't stan them equally. If I only could buy 1 album / go to 1 concert / listen to only 1 artist, I would definitely choose IU.

While I am a huge multi stan, I will say some of my biases are above the others, for example I stan about 20+ groups, but my main groups are SHINee, Ateez, TXT for the BGs, and I will tend to stan them a bit harder, with SHINee being on top of those three listed. I still love all groups, but I'd be lying if I said I stanned them all the same, just because my ult group has been my ult group since 2008

no who told you that lol. there are some groups i like more than other (example: i like weeekly more than txt but i still love txt with all my heart.) i dont put in the same money with all my groups however. i would buy their albums but i only buy twices and weeekly's ( i own a few bts too but i cant get anymore cause my mom hates boy groups lol).

I only ult BTS and treasure so I wouldn't know
But using them I'm a bit more biased towards bangtan since I stanned them longer but only a little bit, and I buy all of their merch and albums same for treasure, and no, I don't feel fustrated with anything, both of my faves are doing good which is enough for me, Treasure is constantly growing every comeback and exceeding expectations, BTS is performing at the grammy's in two days so I'm acually pretty happy.

Answering the question in the title:
No. I have my ultimate groups that I'm a bit more invested emotionally. But I love, respect and follow the music and content of all the 6 groups I stan.
Have you ever been irritated or uncomfortable that one group surpassed the other?
Absolutely no. I don't care that much even when they are surpassed by groups I don't stan (most of the time I don't even know when it happens, cause I dont follow other groups stats).
Do you put the same effort/ money into all the groups you Stan?
It's relative. I put more effort in the group I see that needs more my effort in a especific situation. How much it would be important for them winning some voting more than for other group I stan, for example. Since they could not have one award.
At this moment I'm not spending money in any group due to the pandemic and devalued currency of my country, so its equal, lol. But when I used to, it was equal too. I bought merch based on how much I like the content, not the group.

There are only 3 groups I actually stan and no, I don't stan them equally. That's why I have my ults (enhypen) and the rest that I still love but am not invested in as much. I'm a student - I don't have the time and financial opportunity to support all these groups equally. I can't catch up with the tons of content they drop, I can't buy all their albums or merch, I can't dedicate time to all of them. I love all my 3 groups a lot, I support them a lot but I'm streaming, voting, buying stuff, watching all the content only of enhypen
