Kakao fighting! Lets eat these nugus up
While it's fun to watch how this drama unfolds, I still think it's better for LSM to step down from management, reasons:
- SM as a whole is too big for Hybe to handle so they will probably give the management rights to LSM which will change nothing to the current SM.
- The SM 3.0 plan looks more promising because it's basically how Hybe is operating rn, it will benefit both staffs and artists. SM artists will have more frequent comebacks and schedules.
SM stans who truly care for SM artists should support Kakao's side (even though they're still shady af). Hybe aren't angels, they're businessmen. I feel they're intervening because they fear of Kakao x SM's combined power and that 3.0 plan would make them big competitions to Hybe. They're helping LSM because SM with LSM leading won't be a threat to Hybe, not because they pity him or anything lol.

the way i see it, there isn't a strong chance of hybe buying out and controlling SM outright. more likely, LSM is reaching out to HYBE to sell his shares for cheap, because he believes them sitting on the board will oppose Kakao and disrupt the SM 3.0 plans he was so clearly against. Whether or not he'll retain influence after such a deal is a mystery to me.
I don't think HYBE would risk trying to buy out all the other shares Kakao doesn't own, because the stakeholders that aren't LSM will know to ask for a much higher bid than what LSM is asking

I feel Hybe is still waiting and it will depend on wether LSM wins the lawsuit against SM and make Kakao unable to attain that 10% of shares. it isn't worth it for hybe if they can't overpower kakao + sm board members.
I support neither side since both scenarios won't benefit the former owner of Edam Entertainment.
