2pm literally outcharted all 4th gen BGs with their last comeback. Junho and Suzy are two of the biggest idol actors. WG-Miss A-Twice were all digimons in their heydays. Even JYP himself is still popular.

JYPE groups may not chart well anymore but who doesn't know 2pm, Twice, Suzy, Wonder Girls, Rain in Korea?

And no they don't have the weakest legacy among big 3. They are not easy to replace and will not be in the next 5 years at least.

How many Japanese members are there in kpop industry now compared to how they used to. Groups cover their songs on the biggest of stages and look up to them in general

Girl Jyp by himself is a legacy, the man isn't only a legendary solo act but also a producer he produced for so many acts in the late 90's and early 2000's so i don't know what you're on

I don't agree with op that JYP groups have bad popularity or easy to replace whatsoever but among big 3, JYP is the weakest indeed. SM is out of discussion and YG just with BB and BP have bigger legacy than JYP

Yes SM is the strongest but it's not clear who is ahead between YGE and JYPE. People keep worrying about JYPE but forget Wonder Girls are still relevant now while 2ne1 have faded into irrelevancy. BP and Twice are around the same level.

Yes, BB > 2pm but 2pm were still very successful with Taecyeon and Junho being more active and successful in the industry than 3/4 of BB.

And Suzy is Suzy. No YGE female idol compares to her.

Why are people or rather kpop fans are so obsessed with replacing groups, company or something lol I mean anyone or anybody can change into something that we do not know. Lol

JYPE’s biggest legacy is around their gg’s and looking at how badly NMIXX relative to an average JYPE gg are doing domestically you’re probably not wrong. That was their biggest selling point.

But then again, Treasure also bucked the trend of YG artists pretty much always getting huge attention from the public on debut and I think that wide public recognition (highly rated music, being seen as artists etc) is the biggest driver of their legacy
