Back in the corona era they were called "leaders of their generation" and they had a Gee-level type of hit (Next Level). The corona era ends and it's like they are almost forgotten. Obviously SM tried to push them in the West but it didn't amount to much. Their fans like to say SM isn't promoting them enough in Korea, but neither did YG with BPink. Then BPink came back after a long hiatus they became huger than ever. Should SM re-debut Aespa with a new concept and add more members? This was the wish of Aespa fans since the beginning.

1. SM jumped the gun at printing in the West. Friday release. Going to the US before any music shows. Lots of playlisting. Two Western bait ballads in one EP. The music and the promotions suffered.
2. Shit music. Girls was bland, not catchy, and long. The EP was a huge step down from Savage. Western bait mixed with NCT leftovers.
3. Shit choreo. The chorus choreo was awkward and Giselle was exposed.
4. Not switching it up on time. Savage was a smoke and mirrors. It had less ULS than Next Level. Instead of switching it up in a small way, SM doubled down on the lore which no one cared about because it wasn’t well developed. Killing Black Mamba? How did that happen?

They have their mega hit Next Level but that was 2 years ago. While other groups are skyrocketing with the public. Aespa has a big core fandom but their days of being the leaders of their generation are behind them. I think they will be like RV rather than SNSD when it comes to success consistency

As much as I found the K/DA comparisons annoying at first, I wish Aespa's music was more like K/DA's. Outside of Soyeon's part (sorry but Giselle could NEVER), something like Pop/Stars would've suited them so well and they are one of the few groups that could've pulled it off vocally.

Bad music, terrible performances live. With all boasting sm fans do, they can do better lives with all boasting we see here. And their album was cheap too, the sales they boast about lol.
And already other two ggs have more hits than them despite debuting later than them.
They need better music because currently it is terrible and they need comebacks instead of promoting dead career of boa. Or boat will sail. They are not bp when it comes to taking break. They don't have that bp appeal
I remember how arrogant this groups fans were after nl. All disappeared 🙂
