she could retain her popularity status back on sixteen, Produce 101, I.O.I era

This has been the case for awhile now. I also think this is probably a result of overexposure, she's always been popular but her popularity blew up like 10x the past 2 years. She's been everywhere and I think the lipsyncing was the last straw for some people dkgns

sometimes being too popular is not a good thing it happened with Jennie and still does like all the amount of rumors she gets and the media talking about her for clicks it's happening with WY too. Being an it girl is good and all but it has its downsides too.
whilst true it begs the question of whether it's worth it
does the positives outweigh the negatives
and I would say for most kpop idols (male or female) I think they would say yes
