Question to everyone who is using adblocks and other extra features on Google-Chrome

    So.... 3

    1. They are all working still just fine (3) 100%
    2. I have some issues but mostly it's still working (0) 0%
    3. It dosn't works anymore for me (0) 0%
    4. I never have added stuff to my Chrome browser (0) 0%

    I was thinking of something After someone asked me about a JPop-group who was apparently pushing ads on YT and I just said "I can't see it since I use adblock"


    So.... A few months ago a rumor was ongoing that extra features from the Google-Playstore for Google Chrome on computer wouldn't work anymore from January 1st on but it's January 2nd in my place and for a few allready January 3rd if I'm not mistaken and the extra added web-features for Google Chrome still work


    Now I would like to know from you guys, do all the features you have on Google Chrome still work for you too? I'm just curious to know since back in like November a video spreed around the web where it was said that Google Chrome would change the settings in 2023 on January 1st that would make all the features from the Playstore useless to have

    Please take this as advice and not anything else:

    1) Stop using Google Chrome with your internet issues

    2) Please consider cleaning up the fans on your laptop/PC

    3) Figure out your internet issues


    Now to answer you:

    Google Chrome uses so much RAM it's insane. I switched to Firefox a long time ago.

    Even Microsoft's Edge is better than Chrome. Chrome is so bloated and it doesn't delete properly.

    Can't help you. Honestly I runned away from Chrome and I'm using Edge on Windows 11. Didn't have any problems yet, it works fast and I'm not using any adblocks etc.

    1. I don't use Chrome, only Edge and Firefox.

    2. I'm using Ublock Origin+Universal Byspass and it's working just fine for me.
    3. Some sketchy websites may ask me to turn off adblock.
    4. I'm using YT Premium, so I don't use Adblock on Youtube.

    On a Laptop some glitches after some Window Updates. Clears up after doing an update on Google Chrome.

    I don't use any of the Sync features or services.
