Are we sure that Gidle numbers are correct? I think it should be higher. They got triple crown for both of their comebacks, afair.

It is wrong, Idle got 8 for tomboy and 11 for nxde. Pretty much all the numbers given were wrong.

I think OP removed all music core wins for the 2022 counts to make it fair since they mention it didn't exist in 2010, with them the numbers look like this:

Edit to add since I went and did the research anyways, I realised OP forgot some group wins that by their criteria should count but included music core as only BP won on that and only once this year:

if thats the case, they should remove The Show and Show Champion too since none existed in 2010, they only had Mcountdown, Music Bank and Inkigayo (Music Core existed but didn't give awards)

As some of you may know, I have quite an interest in music show wins, and according to my database, the 2010 numbers are quite incorrect. Here's what I'm showing for that year:

SNSD: 22 wins [2nd Gen]

2NE1: 11 wins [2nd Gen]

T-ara: 10 wins [2nd Gen]

Kara: 8 wins [2nd Gen]

Miss A: 4 wins [2nd Gen]

After School: 1 win [2nd Gen]

Wonder Girls: 1 win [2nd Gen]

4Minute: 1 win [2nd Gen]

Sistar: 1 win [2nd Gen]

So that's nine girl groups in total, all Second Generation. Do note that back then, the only shows giving out awards were M Countdown, Music Bank, and Inkigayo.

If we limit things to only those three music shows, here's how 2022 breaks down:

IVE: 18 wins [4th Gen]

Blackpink: 12 wins [3rd Gen]

(G)I-dle: 10 wins [4th Gen]

Kep1er: 4 wins [4th Gen]

STAYC: 4 wins [4th Gen]

Itzy: 4 wins [4th Gen]

NewJeans: 4 wins [4th Gen]

GOT the Beat: 3 wins [4th? Gen]

Le Sserafim: 3 wins [4th Gen]

Fromis 9: 2 wins [4th Gen]

Viviz: 1 win [3rd Gen]
