Believe it or not, it does snow in Australia. We aren't sunshine all the time. It snows in my region in the mountains only an hour from here. It has been snowing in recent weeks and we are in summer - go figure!
Snow is pretty but cold and I don't like being out in it. I just like to see it as it is a rare event Down Under.

I just moved from California. The day I loaded the first moving truck it was 115. It was 111 the day I left. I now live in Idaho. It's snowed a few inches this week, we're expecting a few more tomorrow. IT'S HEAVEN!!!! Any activity in snow is better than an activity not in snow! Even shoveling snow is fun! After 40 years of living in hell I finally escaped!

it usually does but hasn't yet this year

This year there were only a few weeks of snow in January. The winter holidays were quite depressing in terms of weather for the past few years. I kinda miss when I was little and I all I wished for Christmas was to let it snow.

I get it you were trying to make yeonjun appear!

It doesn't snow in my city in Australia
Winter is hardly even cold
But when I lived in Japan I liked snow days, even though Tokyo never got REALLY covered in snow most of the time. People looked at me funny, because I was a grown ass adult so happy to see snow that I'd stomp in it etc
The more I hear about Australia I wonder why you guys live there... Everything wants to kill you. It's hot as hell... The only plus I can find is you guys have amazing spiders there. I'd a Austrailian Peacock spider pet.

I live in a desert...no snow!
Not necessarily true. I live in what's called a high desert; I'm close enough to the mountains that our local public transit system goes to a ski resort. It snowed here on Tuesday. I did not go out in the snow, as my joints and healed broken bone all hurt when they get cold. I won't be moving for at least another 12 years, as I like my job.

Hence your userID. Colorado's at altitude and pretty far north even though we're technically in the desert, so snow is common.

hence the dry heat

We’ve barely gotten any snow for the last few years cus global warming sucks like that. Now we only get a couple of weeks of snow, usually in January or February, but rarely enough to do any real snow activities. It’s not cold enough for the lakes to freeze over and the snow rarely gets thick enough for skiing or even just building a snowman without it consisting of fifty percent dirt.
This year we’ve gotten a total of three snow days so far and only a thin layer.
Snow and winter is only fun if you get a lot of it. Snow landscapes are beyond beautiful, ice skating out on a lake is so cosy and as a child I loved to go sledding. But when you only get a small amount of snow it’s no better than rain. Really it’s worse since it’s also cold and sticks around for longer, slowly soaking your shoes and making them feel like ice blocks.

It's just raining isn't even that cold. Winter weather came in December this year. It gets very cold in January and February. It can get very cold cause it's very humid. It snows only once a year and not all snow is permanent. When I was in middle school, there was permanent snow on the ground once, I had a lot of fun. But I don't like cold weather. That's why it doesn't matter. I love the summer months the most.
